Yesterday, I flew out to San Diego because I needed a day’s rest, and I know a Spa out there where the staff have come to call me “JC” — I humor them by saying, “What would I do?” And then reprimand them for bringing one scotch instead of two.
Why, Jonny, did you need to fly out to California, for one day, enjoy a nice cucumber massage, and fly back when there are plenty of Spa’s in New York City? Answer: Because I can. It’s my duty as an outstanding entertainer. You see, my fine leathered friends, I performed this weekend: two shows I wrote, directed, starred in, and performed in and even improvised my way through when times grew tough and the going was get shorty. Simply, a fabulous supper club calling himself A Razor, A Shiny Knife was responsible for filling my guests’s faces with food and an outstanding human being calling himself Jesse Salazar from USQ filled them with the fruit of the ages!
I feel blessed. I will discuss my feelings here, tomorrow, and the day after that, and perhaps a day or two after that. For now, keep my close to your hearts.
